Ian Hill is a painter. He studied under David Ball, Stephen Player, Charles Pyle, and Kazu Sano.
Inspired by obscure and humorus juxtapositions, Ian HIll does contemporary realist paintings that could be classified as both narrative and surreal. Hill's oil painting's are concocted from memories, still-life, digital manipulation, classical paintings, vintage photo's, nature, and quantum theories.
As well as receiving awards such as the "Direct Art Award" from the Limner Gallery, and being seen in publications like Spectrum Fantasy, Hill has exhibited in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and abroad.
